Hong Kong's most famous marathon is around the corner and people are preparing themselves to join in on the running fun. But besides having decent running shoes, what other preparations do you need to make to successfully finish your target distance at a competition run?
The HKU Marathon Clinic
For long-term running development, distance runners will experience continuous improvement through development of “running economy”. Speed and resistance training together with the primary focus on long slow distance training or tempo running could be a very effective strategy in enhancing short term gains.
Our Marathon Preparation Clinic will discuss these concepts with possible ways to improve running efficiency through different drills that can used in daily training. So, come join us and prepare yourself for your upcoming race.
