International Day of Yoga

Welcome to the International Day of Yoga at HKU Main Library!

We are delighted to invite you to immerse yourself in the world of Traditional Hatha Yoga. This workshop is designed to introduce you to the ancient and revered practice of Hatha Yoga, which focuses on physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation.

Hatha Yoga is a time-honored yoga style that aims to bring harmony and balance to the body and mind. Through the practice of various asanas, you will enhance your flexibility, improve your posture, and develop a deeper connection with your body. The deliberate combination of breath control and meditation techniques will help you cultivate a calm and focused mind, leading to a greater sense of inner peace.

Leena's expertise and compassionate teaching style make her the perfect guide for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike. She will offer personalized attention, modifications, and guidance to ensure a safe and supportive environment for your yoga journey.
