The Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre in collaboration with the Centre for Sports and Exercise has launched the Green Exercise at HKU initiative, linking nature, health and well-being through FREE exercise activities.
Outdoor natural environments may provide some of the best all-round health benefits including stress reduction, restoring mental fatigue, and improving mood and self-esteem. Physical exercise within green spaces and the great outdoors therefore may be a useful natural medicine to address health challenges.
During the month of November we will be offering FREE exercise activities throughout campus and Lung Fu Shan with the aim to motivate people to be physically active on campus whilst enjoying the green spaces at HKU.
